The solutions must be liquid in composition and should not be viscous like gels, corrosive like sodium hypochlorite, or foaming like hydrogen peroxide. These substances are contraindicated. All other approved solutions can be administered and have been validated by their respective commercial brands, allowing dental professionals to use them with the Fourth Function Quadruple Spray Syringe.

Calibration is done by adapting the device to the triple syringe and ensuring there are no leaks or misfits. Once assembled, the correct functioning of the original triple syringe (water, air, and spray) is verified, along with the proper atomization of the solution when pressing air together with the trigger. This regulates both air pressure and product dosage. Additionally, the device is made of anodized surgical-grade stainless steel for easy cleaning, and the applicator nozzle is sterilizable, autoclavable, and interchangeable between patients.

Cleaning is quick and simple, performed alongside the triple syringe between patients using a disinfectant-dampened cloth across the entire device. The applicator nozzle can also be replaced with a sterile one.

Its compatibility with the triple syringe ensures seamless integration into existing workflows without requiring additional training.
